Words Of Wisdom On The Answer

It is normal for all of us to seek answers to the meaning of life.  Why are we here?  What should we do?  How can we be really happy?  It is natural to look for the answers to life.  You can get more Wise Thoughts here.

However, here is a secret that can change everything.  And the secret wisdom is that There Is No Answer!

We spend our lives looking for the answer.  You know, the answer that will make us happy, whole, satisfied, successful.  So we find an answer, like one the Buddha gave us.  He said grasping is at the root of all suffering.  So we then work hard to conquer desire and grasping in our lives.

It is then human nature to make detachment and non-grasping the answer to all life’s problems.  But it doesn’t work in that way.  They are the not the entire answer to life.  There are just partial answers.  You can learn some more Words of Wisdom Insights here.

So some people spend years trying to conquer desire and grasping within themselves.  They are actually full of the desire to kill off desire!  After months or years of this you will likely figure that out.  “Well, trying to desire to kill off desire doesn’t seem to be working, so…”  You drop that and start looking for another, better answer.

In the same way people on the search for self wisdom make love the answer, or compassion, or knowledge, or holiness the answer.  Then they work very hard trying to be holier or more wise or more loving.  Only to find after several months or years that it isn’t working.  Trying to be more of anything isn’t the answer!

Here’s something worth understanding.  Any answer you find to the meaning of your life will only be part of the answer.  It won’t be the whole answer.  So if you think being loving is the answer, good for you.  Go to work on that area of your life.  But don’t expect it to solve everything or make you completely fulfilled.

Realize that there is no answer!  Realize that any answer you find is temporary.  Start to give up on needing an answer.  Life is not meant to be solved.  Life doesn’t need to be healed.  Start to live in the question.  Start to get comfortable not always needing or having an answer.  There is much more to this, but just this is some powerful self help wisdom!  You can get more Self Development Insights here.
