Both of these alternatives are wrong. There is a better way to deal with your stress and anxieties. Here is a list of techniques that a person can use to help manage their stress, anxieties, and fears.</p>
<p> First and foremost, seek help and treatment from a professional. Getting help from a counselor or other professional is very important and can provide you much help and insights in dealing with your current problem. Getting help from a professional should be the first thing you do in getting better. Remember to follow through on the suggestions that these counselors offer to you and be patient with the process of getting better.</p>
<p> Try to learn what is the real source of your fears and anxieties. Knowing what the source of your problem is can go a long way in finding the solution. Think about it and try to figure out what is the source of your fears and stress. If you do not know, then ask a professional or a counselor. As a Layman, I learned that finding the source of your fears will put you that much closer in getting better.</p>
<p> Sometimes, we get stressed when everything happens all at once. Instead of taking it out on someone else a person should take a deep breathe and try to find something to do for a few minutes to get your mind off of the problem. A person could take a walk, listen to some music, read the newspaper or do an activity that will give them a fresh perspective on things. This mental timeout can help you refocus on your current situation.</p>
<p> A good way to manage your worry is to challenge your negative thinking with positive statements and realistic thinking. When encountering thoughts that make your fearful or anxious, challenge those thoughts by asking yourself questions that will maintain objectivity and common sense.</p>
<p> When facing a current or upcoming task that overwhelms you with a lot of anxiety, the first thing you can do is to break the task into a series of smaller steps. Completing these smaller tasks one at a time will make the stress more manageable and increases your chances of success.</p>
<p> As a Layman and not as a professional, I realize it is not easy to deal with all of our fears and other problems, however there are all kinds of help available. Remember to take advantage of the help that is around you. The key is to be patient and not to give up. In time, you will be able to find those resources that will help you with your problems.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It can be tough in dealing with the stresses and anxieties maintaining your family and/or household.  Some people may have a hard time taking care of the kids, holding down a job, and taking care of the house. Here are some tips on how parents can manage their stresses and anxieties of taking care of a family</p>
<p> The first step a parent can do is to learn to prioritize their daily activities. Each morning, determine what are the most important things that need to be done. List them in order and then do each task one at a time. If the first task is to go shopping then that is what you focus on. When that is finished, then focus on the second task which may be to clean the house. Perform each task one at a time. Remember that doing everything all at once can cause a lot of stress and anxiety.</p>
<p> Learn to communicate with your spouse. If you don’t communicate with one another than you will become unorganized and stressed. This will increase your anxiety and stresses. If you and your spouse learn to work together, you will accomplish more things, you won’t feel rushed and you will have more satisfaction in what you are doing.</p>
<p> Take a break from every few hours to catch your breath. A five or ten minute break can help you to get relaxed and will help you to regain control of your anxieties. Take a couple of deep breaths, take a quick walk to help unwind, or read a book. Taking a small break will help you to refocus on what still needs to be done later in the day.</p>
<p> Learn to plan your family tasks ahead of time. It is easier to follow a structured plan then it is to just do whatever comes to mind. Developing some kind of plan for the next day will help you to stay focus on what needs to be done. Once you accomplish your daily goals, you will feel better about yourself.</p>
<p> Managing a household doesn’t have to be difficult if you learn how to manage your anxieties and stresses. If you are having trouble, then talk to a professional who can give you additional advice on how to better manage your stresses.</p>

<p> Take advantage of the help that is available around you. If possible, talk to a professional who can help you manage your fears and anxieties. They will be able to provide you with additional advice and insights on how to deal with your current problem. By talking to a professional, a person will be helping themselves in the long run because they will become better able to deal with their problems in the future.</p>
<p> In every anxiety related situation you experience, begin to learn what works, what doesn’t work and what you need to improve on in managing your fears and anxieties. As an author of a managing fear book, there were times that I didn’t know how to handle my fear and anxieties. I made it a point to learn what techniques worked for me when I became anxious. I did this for fifteen years and gained a lot of valuable information on how to deal with my anxieties.</p>
<p> When managing your fears and anxieties do not try to tackle everything at once. The best solution is to break your fears or problems into a series of smaller steps. Completing these smaller tasks one at a time will make the stress more manageable and increases your chances of success.</p>

The first step is to become comfortable with yourself and having the self-confidence that you will be able to manage being alone. There is nothing wrong with being alone. If being alone bothers you then seeing a counselor can help you with these issues.</p>
<p> In the meantime, here is a short list of techniques that a person can use so that the fear of being alone doesn’t become a major issue in their lives.</p>
<p> The first step is to find an activity that you enjoy and where you can meet a lot of people. For instance, joining a group activity such as a volleyball group, women’s club, or making crafts can be a great way to meet people. Doing something that you like to do will make you happy and will increase your chances of making friends.</p>
<p> Spending time with animals can be a great source of companionship. Whether you have a dog or you go to your local shelter, spending time with an animal or pet can help us to feel better. Animals can be of good company to all of us whether we are alone or not.</p>
<p> Helping others through community service can be of some help. There are many people out there who could benefit from your time and talents. Helping others can give you a source of pride and<br /> accomplishment and also can lead to friendships.</p>
<p> It isn’t fun being alone, but sometimes there are worse things. For instance, imagine that you are married or stuck in a relationship that you can’t get out of and also makes you miserable. Not only do you have to live with this person, but there is no way to get out of the relationship because of various financial or personal reasons. As a result, you are stuck living with someone that you can’t stand and makes you depressed every single day of your life. With this viewpoint, being alone doesn’t sound that bad.</p>
<p> For those of you who believe in God, spending time with God and praying to him can help us in our lonely situation. Spending time with God and asking God for help in our time of loneliness can be of great comfort. You never know how God will work in ones life. Ask him for help and trust that he will help you.</p>
<p> As a Layman, the important thing is to do something constructive. Sitting around and doing nothing will not make things any better whether its dealing with the fear of being alone or something else. Take it one day at a time and stay committed in trying to solve your problem.</p>

It can sometimes be difficult to overcome the feelings of rejection and to try again. As a result, here is a list of techniques a person can use to help get over the feelings of not making it on the first or second try.</p>
<p> When getting turned down, the key is to learn from your mistakes and to give it another try. Doing anything in life requires practice and persistence. For example, remember the time when you first learned to ride a bike. The first few times, you kept following off the bike. With some practice and some time, you were able to ride your bike with no problem. Everything we do is a learning experience so do not get discouraged if you don’t make it on the first or second time.</p>
<p> Sometimes, our negative thoughts will get the best of us when we fail to get what we want. A technique that is very helpful is to have a small notebook of positive statements that make us feel good. Whenever you come across an affirmation that makes you feel good, write it down in a small notebook that you can carry around with you in your pocket. Whenever you feel discouraged, open up your small notebook and read those statements.</p>
<p> If you have trouble accomplishing a certain task, visualize yourself doing the task in your mind. For instance, you and your team have to play in the championship volleyball game in front of a large group of people in the next few days. Before the big day comes, imagine yourself playing the game in your mind. Imagine that your playing in front of a large audience. By playing the game in your mind, you will be better prepared to perform for real when the time comes. Use this same technique in your situation. Visualize yourself succeeding at your goal.</p>
<p> Asking for help can make a difference. Talking to someone who has been there can give us insights on how to overcome our current situation. A friend can also provide encouragement and remind us that we are not alone. Also remember to take it one day at a time. Focus on the present and try not to predict what may happen down the road.</p>
<p> As a Layman and author of an anxiety book, I have gone through much adversity in dealing with fear and anxiety. The key is not to give up and to learn from your mistakes. In time, you will become more knowledgeable and experienced and eventually you will accomplish your goals.</p>
