Hypnosis Has The Power To Change Your Life
When I first began to learn hypnosis, it wasn’t so I could hypnotize others; it was so I could hypnotize myself. What? Yep it’s true, you can use self-hypnosis to hypnotize yourself and accomplish a multitude of positive results.
Hypnosis has been proven to help you overcome fear. None of us are perfect but all of us (unless there are medical reasons otherwise) have a powerful and (in a way) perfect subconscious mind. Our subconscious is designed to help you reach your goals, no matter what they are. But here’s the stickler, YOU have to tell your subconscious what you want because the subconscious mind does not know the difference between right and wrong, only that it must help you reach the goal you have set for it. So, if your subconscious mind isn’t working 24/7 to help you achieve positive goals, it’s time you set some ground rules and you can set these rules with self-hypnosis.
Once you learn a few simple techniques, you can reprogram your subconscious mind (and the mind of family and friends) to change behaviors that you don’t want. You can use hypnosis to change your self image for the better.Hypnosis is not something mystical, it pure and simple science and takes place in a very relaxed state of mind.
Ever watch TV and find that you are completely tuned into the game (or program) forgetting those around you.At that moment you were temporarily experiencing hypnosis.
Have you ever driven your car, found yourself at your destination, but had little or no memory of the trip? When that happened you were temporarily hypnotized.
We all experience it, the trick is (actually it’s not a trick, just a technique) is to use your conscious mind to tell your subconscious exactly what you want in life. Do that, and there is no end to what you can accomplish.
Hypnosis is a time when you’ll find that your imagination can literally soar, thinking of things and grasping concerts that seemed difficult before. Your subconscious mind is extremely literal, as mentioned before it does not know the difference between right and wrong, only that what it believes, MUST BE FACT.
Hypnosis, self-hypnosis (sometimes called meditation) can not only help you remove unwanted fears from your life, but achieve better health, relaxation, improved performance in personal endeavors and an overall well being toward life.
Here’s the trick (oops, technique)… in the beginning, when you first begin to learn hypnosis, remove yourself from distractions, later you’ll find you can enter into a state of hypnosis easily and quickly, but at first find a place in your home (or neighborhood) where you won’t be disturbed and that is quiet, safe and comfortable.
Lightly tense all the muscles in your body, muscle by muscle, and then relax them while also taking then releasing a complete breath of air. While you’re doing this focus your attention on a particular object (some people will use a candle, but anything will suffice), then allow your mind to drift, not concentrating on any particular thing, just drifting in the current of your mind. As you do this, you’ll find you’re becoming calmer and more relaxed and you are beginning to enter a state of deep relaxation.
When in this state, begin to offer positive and helpful suggestions to your subconscious mind.Do you want to lose weight? Then begin to see yourself at your perfect weight, happy and healthy.Do you need or want more money? That is the time to see in your mind’s eye having arrived at the pinnacle and living life to the fullest.
This imagery, some might call daydreaming, is actually the gentle reprogramming of your subconscious mind. This is you telling your subconscious how you want to live… “This is the way I want my life to be”. Once your subconscious mind knows this, it will worth tirelessly to accomplish the goals that you have given it.
