<p> The Science of Astrology is somewhere between 3,000 and 4,000 years old. It is thought to have originated in the early kingdoms of Mesopotamia (now Iraq) by the Chaldeans. Well it is actually a fascinating thing I have come across in my work and studies over the past couple of years, both personally and professionally helping people in my hypnotherapy practice with every type of various stuff like <a href="http://synergyhypnotherapymelbourne.com.au/services/quit-smoking">smoking hypnotherapy</a>, anxiety/depression hypnotherapy for example.</p>
<p>Remembered agony is where you suffer some kind of physical injury you get given treatment for it, you get better however the signs of the injury never vanish although the doctors say nothing is wrong with it and it has healed. What is happening here well you have an unconscious memory of the agony and you are recreating the agony both physically and mentally, so it is just like the injury is still there.</p>
<p>What the hell are you talking about this is nonsense!! Well no I&#8217;ve had experience of this myself with an injury to ligaments in my back and leg centred on my sacral iliac joint. How does it work you&#8217;ll ask? Well the injury occurs and as a natural defence all the muscles in that area tighten up to attempt to protect the area, next the area may heal while the muscles still protect the area not relaxing. This also causes your posture to modify along with alignment of bones, muscles ligaments and so on. This then causes other issues in that area and perhaps other body areas.</p>
<p>Now I&#8217;m going along in this state feeling ok maybe with hardly any pain or discomfort while getting comfortable with being this way it just become part of your unconscious mind the discomfort and pain sort of vanishes into the background! Next thing I may injure the area again which then further enflames the area and injury again and you cycle thru the prior steps in the healing process I detailed above making things worse.</p>
<p>Now the next surprising bit of this while the above is occurring you also feel emotions plus feelings towards the injury like hurt, hurt, anger, frustration, helplessness, depression, sadness to name a few. This has a marked tendency to amplify the agony and suffering of the individual while injured, it focuses your attention on the injury and increases all the feelings (pain) and emotions. What occurs next is you begin to direct these feelings and emotions straight at the injury, which further increases tenseness, tightening of muscles etc everything we chatted about earlier.</p>
<p>Here is where it really gets weird you anchor and store these emotions and feelings in the area of the injury also. As a result this also helps to lock into place the injury or should I say the memory of the injury. You end up being in continued pain which has a tendency to become worse as time passes, because you are locked in a cycle mentioned above adding more and more emotions, feelings (agony) and physical tenseness etc.</p>
<p>You have subconsciously memorised the pain and continue to reproduce the symptoms and possibly the injury on a continual basis. As this continues over a period of time you become used to a particular level of pain and suffering it then becomes ordinary and goes into your unconscious mind, you don&#8217;t notice it any longer except on occasions then it increases in pain again and is back in your conscious awareness for some time, before you also become used to this level and it goes into your subconscious mind. So over time the discomfort and suffering slowly increases like on a range of 1 to 10, it begins at a 2-3 then 1 or 2 years later it is a 4-5 and so on customarily increasing over a period of time at varying rates.</p>
<p>So what can be done? Well the single thing generally that can be done is to approach it from 2 angles both physical therapy and mental therapy through hypnosis and NLP. There are other modalities that can be employed like meditation, meditation you may concentrated on the issue areas consciously reprogramming your muscles to relax again while you are receiving physical treatment as well. This will also take a while the injury I had took 15 years to get to a high level of pain, so this took me about 2 years of both physical treatment, Hypnotherapy/NLP and meditation work on my unconscious mind to fix the old injury.</p>
<p>I was seeing a massage therapist 1-2 times each week over this period as well as practicing meditation/NLP. I will qualify this, with hindsight I had a couple of Problems which intensified the recovery, 2 slightly twisted vertebra and my pelvis was rotated forward, the massage specialist didn&#8217;t pick up on this it only got treated after I went and saw some one else, at about 1.5 years into this 2 years of treatment. So. I may have cut this treatment period down to 6-12 months if this was fixed first!! It was a lesson for both me and my massage specialist.</p>
<p>Was it worthwhile? The answer to this is a resounding yes the amount of pain emotional trouble this relieved was absolutely amazing I haven&#8217;t felt better in my whole life. Plus the rest of my life is going to be one thousand times better because I have cleaned my body of all that emotional luggage and discomfort.</p>
